CLARE VALLEY, SA 25-27 OCTOBER 2024
This year our Spring Fly-in and AGM returns to South Australia's beautiful Clare Valley. Well known for its wineries and restaurants, Clare also boasts historic buildings, galleries, micro brewery, walking & cycling trails and a golf course!
Clare Valley Aerodrome (YCVA) is the perfect destination with two runways, lots of green grass for aircraft parking and a large, modern, and airy aero club building.
Camping on the airfield is allowed and encouraged, there are toilet and shower facilities in the club rooms for your use.
Friday 25th October
Arrivals are encouraged on Friday to make the most of the weekend. Drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase in the aero club, and our hosts, the Clare Valley Flying Group (CVFG), are providing tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the weekend.
Tables have been reserved for an informal dinner at The Bentleys Hotel for whoever wishes to attend, alternatively try one of Clare's many other restaurants.
Saturday 26th October
Breakfast in town, before heading to the airfield for more arrivals, catching up with friends, checking out the latest antique aeroplanes, and some local flying in the Clare Valley.
CASA is hosting an AvSafety Seminar and a complimentary sandwich lunch will be provided in the aero club, with drinks available for purchase.
Saturday 26th October - Dinner and AGM
Our dinner and Annual General Meeting will be held from 6:30pm at Sevenhill Hotel. Tickets for dinner at $60 each and must be purchased online. Dinner details below.
Sunday 27th October
Breakfast on the airfield, followed by some local flying, depart for home.
The Annual General Meeting of the Association will take place at 7:30pm on Saturday 26th October at Sevenhill Hotel, Main N Road, Sevenhill in conjunction with our fly-in dinner. (Details below).

Please register your attendance via the REGISTER button above so that we know who is attending and can cater accordingly. Registration will also allow you to book your AGM Dinner tickets as well as purchase bus tickets if you will be using the bus service.
We will have a roaming welcome desk at Clare to meet you on arrival and ensure you've got everything you need.
Located 8nm north of Clare township, Clare Valley Aerodrome (YCVA) has a 1250m N/S bitumen strip and a 600m E/W grass strip.
AVGAS will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday via tanker. The bowser will not be available over the weekend.
Access to the sealed taxiway and apron will be limited due to an RFDS event. A temporary grass taxiway from the northern end of RWY35 will be available for access to the parking area.
All parked aircraft must be tied down, please remember to bring your tiedowns.

Sunday Breakfast: Bacon and eggs available on airfield, $15 pay as you go.
The fly-in dinner and Annual General Meeting will be held at Sevenhill Hotel, Main N Road, Sevenhill SA from 6:30pm. Tickets are $60 each for a two course dinner.
Tickets must be purchased online, and will be on sale until midnight on Sunday 20th October. No cancellations or new sales can be accepted after this time as we are required to confirm a final number with the venue.

Seating will be on a first come first served basis.
Remember to bring your payment receipt with you to the dinner on Saturday night as this will serve as your entry ticket at the dinner venue.
Buses will be available after dinner to get you back to your accommodations.
THE PEOPLES' CHOICE AWARD
On arrival members will receive a voting slip to vote for the Peoples' Choice Award to be announced at the Saturday night dinner.
A bus service will operate between the aerodrome and town on Saturday and Sunday on the schedule shown, servicing the accommodation listed below. Services to town are leaving the airport on the hour. The 5:30pm bus will continue from town to Sevenhills, returning at 9:30pm.
Bus tickets are $15 per person for the whole event and you'll received a wrist band on arrival which will be your bus pass. Please purchase your bus tickets online when you register.
Saturday: 2pm, 4pm, 5:30pm, 21:30pm (from Sevehills)
Sunday: 8am
Clare Valley Taxis are also available by contacting 08 8842 2608, and several courtesy cars will be available at the airfield.
