2025 National Fly-In

10-13 APRIL 2025, COROWA NSW

Join us once more in Corowa for the Antiquers' 2025 National Fly-In.

All the plans are in place for four days of fun and celebrations. The recipe of a Murray River town is tried and tested, and we look forward to seeing you all at Corowa, NSW between 10-13 April this year. 

See below some of the great activities planned for the event, as well as to grab the info you'll need to join us. This page is being constantly updated, so keep checking back. 

Registration

Registration is now open, and bookings can be made via this button. REGISTER NOW

An Event Registration Fee of $25 per adult contributes to the cost of the event commemorative plaque, bus hire, marquees, and other facilities required to run the event.

Non-members wishing to attend are encouraged to join the Association.

PROGRAM

Thursday 10 April - Movie Night

Arrival Day - Fly until sunset then lay out your picnic rug or camp chair for an outdoor cinema experience set amongst the finest collection of antique and classic aeroplanes. 


A BBQ dinner and bar will be available for the evening while Maverick and the crew in Top Gun: Maverick demonstrate that antique aviation doesn't just mean aircraft!  BYO camp chair or picnic rug. Last year was quite chilly so you may wish to rug up!

Friday 11 April

 
The 'Drome Cafe

Brekky in town then make your way out to the airfield for a fly away lunch to your choice of venues!

For those remaining at the airfield, a lunchtime BBQ will be available.  

 
Brown Bros. Winery

Once again we have booked out the Cofield Winery Barrel Hall from 6:00PM for an informal dinner night.

Several menu items, including vegetarian options available.

Saturday 12 April

   
Head out to the airfield for breakfast, then a fun day with food, flying, vintage cars, tractors, machinery, OzRunways seminar, and of course the field full of AAAA aircraft and members. 
   

 
 
 
Saturday night, Annual Dinner & Awards Night at Club Corowa. Be sure to purchase your dinner tickets in advance, and consider booking a table of eight so you can be assured of sitting with your Antiquer friends.
 


Sunday 13 April

Breakfast on the airfield, enjoy some local flying, depart for home.

Meals

To assist with catering, please indicate your attendance via the registration form.

 Thursday Dinner  Relaxed on-airport BBQ and drinks. Pay as you go.
 Friday Breakfast  Own arrangements in town.
 Friday Lunch

 Fly-away lunch, suggested destinations The 'Drome Cafe (Tocumwal), or Brown Bros. Winery (Milawa). Pay as you go.

For those remaining on the airfield, a light lunch with be available. Pay as you go. 

 Friday Dinner  Informal dinner in town.  Cofield Winery Barrel Hall has been reserved for our use, so come along for a catch-up with friends old and new over a meal. Pay as you go.
 Saturday Breakfast  Available on airfield. Pay as you go.
 Saturday Lunch  Light lunch available on airfield. Pay as you go.
 Saturday Dinner  The Annual Dinner & Awards Night  will be held at Club Corowa from 6:30 PM. Tickets must be pre-purchased online.
 Sunday Breakfast  Available on airfield. Pay as you go.

Dinner and awards night

The fly-in's Annual Dinner & Awards Night will be held at Club Corowa on Saturday night from 6.30 PM until late. Adult tickets are $60 each for two courses and children's tickets are $25 each (12 years and under). 

Tickets must be purchased online and will be on sale until 5pm on Saturday 5th April. No cancellations or new sales can be accepted after this time as we are required to confirm a final number with the venue. 

If you have special dietary requirements please contact us via email events@antique-aeroplane.com.au  Any late notice of dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed.

Once you have booked and paid for your dinner tickets, remember to bring your payment receipt with you for the dinner on Saturday night as this will serve as your entry ticket at the dinner venue.

Seating will be on a first come first served basis.

Reserved seating is only available with the purchase of a complete table of eight tickets. If you wish to reserve a table, please purchase your eight tickets online and select the reserve table option.  Also please list the names of your eight attendees on the registration form. 

aircraft judging & awards

Trophies will be awarded for:

  • Grand Champion in each of the Antique, Classic, Contemporary, and Warbird categories;
  • Classic Wings Trophy for best aircraft that was on the Australian civil register prior to 1939;
  • President's Choice trophy will also be awarded, along with the;
  • R.G. Carey Award for the best owner-restored aircraft attending for the first time post-restoration, and the;
  • Kevin Bailey Longest Distance Award, awarded to the member flying the longest distance from their home base to Corowa.
To be considered for these awards, aircraft must be on the ground and available for judging by midday Saturday.

EVENT LOCATION & Pilots' guide

EVENT LOCATION: COROWA AERODROME (YCOR)

Located just 2nm west of Corowa township, Corowa Aerodrome boasts a 1280m NW/SE bitumen strip and a 1520m NE/SW bitumen strip with parallel grass runway.



Guidance for pilots flying in to the National Fly-In will be available within OzRunways and also here. Be sure to review this information before you fly in, and check back before the event for any updates.

Bus Timetable

Once again, a bus will be available for use by members to get to and from the airport, our main events, and Corowa township from Thursday evening until Sunday morning. A detailed bus timetable will be made available closer to the event.
